Certificate Course on “ Infant and Young Child
Feeding Counselling Specialist”
BPNI/IBFAN Asia is organizing certificate training courses on Infant and Young Child Feeding Counselling: a Training Course – the 3 in 1 Course (An integrated course on Breastfeeding, Complementary Feeding and Infant Feeding & HIV-Counseling) at Delhi , Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Hindupur (Andhra Pradesh) and Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) as per the dates and place shown below.
Who
can do the course: Medical Doctors,
Staff nurses, Graduates in Nutrition, Science,
Dietetics, Home Science, Social work etc.
Duration of training: 7 days (51 Hours) including 5 X 2 hrs clinical practice in hospital.
Competence after receiving training
Able to:
- Provide individual counselling on breastfeeding, complementary feeding HIV and Infant Feeding
- Initiate setting up “Infant and Young Child Feeding Counseling Center ” at health facilities/other places
- Provide referral level support on IYCF issues
Training:
4 National Trainers will train 24
infant and young child feeding counseling specialists
in one training session spread over 7 days.

Course Fees: Rs. 8,000/-
- Which includes training fee, training kit, training material (English), lunch and tea during training course).
